First Class Honours Degree, Diploma in Dance Education (ISTD), Diploma in Professional Stage Dance, PVG, First Aid Certificate

In 2006, Susan graduated from Dance for All at the Theatre School, Edinburgh with a Diploma in Professional Stage Dance. Throughout her time at dance college Susan gained her Advanced 2 Modern, Advanced 1 Tap and Advanced 2 National as well as her Student Teaching Certificate in RAD Ballet.

Upon graduation, Susan successfully auditioned for a place in Rhythm inc. where she took on the role of a jazz dancer and was involved in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Thereafter, she gained a contract for Disneyland Paris where she was involved in daily parades and character work. 

Susan then decided she wanted to come back to Glasgow and embark on her dance teaching career and has now been teaching dance to children for over 16 years. Throughout her dance teaching career Susan completed her Diploma in Dance Education in both Modern and Tap (ISTD) under the tutorage of Lesley Wood at the Dance Factory. Most recently, Susan used her credits gained from her dance teaching qualifications to obtain a place in the third year of a BA (honours) Open Degree and passed with a First! 

At the moment Susan teaches at Ayrshire’s  prestigious Dansarena Studios and from teaching there she has been inspired to launch Dance Capital where she will bring quality dance lessons to children and young people in Glasgow.
